SENIOR PASTOR
Craig Rees
Pastor Craig Rees is the Senior Pastor of Central Church and founder of the Water’s Edge Family of Churches. At the heart of Craig’s leadership is a desire to invite people to flourish in their kingdom calling—helping people discover not only what God may be calling them to do, but who He is inviting them to become as they follow Jesus in everyday life.
Originally from Bridgend, Wales, Craig’s journey has taken him from Germany to Florida and now to Holland, Michigan, where he has served at Central since 2014. Along the way, he has helped lead churches with a deep commitment to serving their communities, living generously, and creating space for people to ask honest questions about faith.
Craig has studied theology extensively, but he’s most passionate about making faith understandable and practical—especially for people who may be unsure what they believe, have been hurt or disappointed by church, or simply wonder if there’s something more.
Craig and his wife, Wibke, have been married for more than three decades and have six children. Wibke also serves at Central, leading Celebrate Recovery.
