EASTER
When you look back on your life, what are those symbols, or places that shaped your life forever? For some it may be the day they received their first car. For others it may be the day their first child was born, or the hospital where they said their final goodbye to their lifelong love.
What about objects in your life that you carry around to remember significant moments in your life—like the necklace your grandma used to wear, the now dusty baseball glove you learned to play catch with, or your 3 year sobriety chip?
The cross, the tomb, and the stone describe a pivotal moment that changed history forever... yet this history is not found in most history books.
In 2010 the British Museum told the history of the world using 100 objects but never once mentioned the cross, the tomb, or the stone.
Can the history of the world truly be told without mentioning them? And an even bigger question: to what extent have the cross, the tomb, and the stone changed our own personal history?
Lives changed because Jesus died on the cross.
Lives changed because Jesus laid dead in a tomb.
Lives changed because the stone was rolled away.
Has yours?
