St Louis Mission Trip

June 18-25
Current 6th, 7th and 8th Graders (2015-16 School Year)



If you’re a middle school student who loves connecting with children, the elderly and also love getting your hands dirty, this is the trip for you!

We’ll be joining with like minded New City Fellowship Church to assist them as a summer team. In the morning you’ll be assigned to one or two children to help guide them through tutoring which includes worship, class and play time. In the afternoon, you’ll do work projects for the elderly such as clearing brush, painting, cleaning, building, etc. At night you’ll help run backyard Bible clubs for the kids.

Cost is $560 and the application will be coming soon!

WHO
Current 6th, 7th & 8th grade students with a heart to pursue Jesus through living out Jesus’ for others. If you love connecting with children, the elderly and also love getting your hands dirty, this is the trip for you!


WHAT

WHY
To join with like minded New City Fellowship Church in St. Louis and assist them as a summer team. New City Fellowship Summer Teams exist to seek the establishment of God's kingdom rule in the hearts of every ethnic group by discipling the nations in the reconciling Gospel of Jesus Christ through a clear proclamation of salvation by grace through faith in Christ alone and by doing Spirit led deeds of justice and mercy.

COST: $560
FUNDRAISING FOR THIS MISSION IMMERSION TRIP HAPPENS THROUGH TWO MAIN SOURCES:
The car wash and the support letter. Your student will need to put significant e ort into raising pledges for the car wash and can also utilize the support letter to prayerfully invite people into financial partnership. We have seen God provide year after year through these opportunities.

NEXT STEPS
Be sure to fill out the application and turn it in no later than March 20, 2016. Give your reference form to a parent or leader and be sure they turn it in to the Student Department Office no later than March 20, 2016.
